Founded in September 2022 Mwamko Mpya Shanzu Community Based Organization (CBO) was born out of a shared concern for the well-being of our Shanzu community. Witnessing the detrimental effects of drug and alcohol abuse, as well as the decline in education and security, we recognized the urgent need for intervention.Driven by a desire to enact positive change, we, along with other dedicated community members, embarked on a mission to educate and empower our fellow citizens.
Our primary focus lies in raising awareness about the dangers of substance abuse, as we firmly believe that education is the key to prevention.
Additionally, we reintegrated students back into the education system. Recognizing the critical role of education in combatting idleness and fostering a brighter future. At Mwamko Mpya Shanzu CBO, our vision extends beyond local borders; we aspire to become a global leader in drug and alcohol prevention. Join us in our journey towards building a healthier, safer, and more empowered community.
